Your Bio

Photography has been a wonderful obsession for many years. My first camera was a gift from my parents when I was 10 -- a Brownie Hawkeye. That year, we were camping in Kings Canyon State Park & I was trying to get closer to a deer in our campsite -- the deer wasn't happy & kicked at me. Fortunately the brown case to the camera was all that got scratched -- and now I use my zoom lens to get closer to critters.

I've started a blog of current photos, if you are interested check them out at http://judysphotoblog.blogspot.com/

As an adult, I've always recorded any family get-together, birthdays, vacations -- any occasion for that matter.

Along the way I've taken workshops and classes: on-going on-line workshops with Carol Leigh ( http://www.photoexploration.com); Traveled to San Miguel de Allende and a workshop with Linda Waidhoffer; NewBrunswick Canada with Freeman Patterson and Andre Gallante; enjoyed a week in Cuba with Bill Bachmann -- and all because of my photography passion. I'm happiest when I'm out and about with my camera; either walking, kayaking or sailing.

I hope you'll enjoy the start of this new website. Comments always appreciated. For more current work follow me at http://judysphotoblog.blogspot.com
